Al fresco entertainment on menu for diners at The Exchange
A whole host of talented performers, musicians and entertainers will be providing diners at Chelmsford’s new al fresco food destination with a unique experience throughout August.
After a hugely successful launch, The Exchange at High Chelmer is continuing to host a summer series of free events every Thursday until 1 September. From 6pm to 9pm, visitors to High Chelmer will be able to relax, unwind and enjoy the newest additions to Chelmsford’s ever-growing restaurant scene, all whilst being treated to fantastic entertainment.
This week, stilt walkers and jugglers will be wowing diners with displays of skill and artistry, and a saxophonist will also be playing a string of jazz favourites – a perfect way to wind down with a drink or a bite in the evening sun.
High Chelmer Centre Manager, Mick McDonagh, said he was looking forward to continuing with the summer evening entertainment at the new dining destination. “Following months of planning and building, we now boast a fantastic space for shoppers to enjoy, with three huge names in the restaurant world and another on the way,” said Mick.
“When we first started planning The Exchange, our aim was to provide a space to the people of Chelmsford that just didn’t exist in the city previously and I’m thrilled with how popular it has already proved.
“Last week’s entertainment went down a treat and we’re sure this Thursday’s will be just as big a hit,” he said.
“I’m really pleased that we are able to put on events of this calibre, with something for everyone’s tastes, as we give visitors their first glimpse of The Exchange experience,” said Mick. “This Thursday will continue that quality and we’re looking forward to providing top class food and entertainment as part of a successful first summer here at The Exchange.”
