Under the Sea adventures at High Chelmer
Youngsters from across Chelmsford are being invited to take part in a free, interactive ‘underwater’ adventure at High Chelmer from 11am to 4pm on Saturday 6 August.
Finley Flipper really needs help; she’s lost her special story that she wants to tell the children of Chelmsford. She needs an extraordinary group to help her retrace her steps on the seabed. Finley Flipper will be joined by her best friend, Elephanty Fish, as the larger than life characters take youngsters on an interactive journey across the sea floor as they try to find the missing story.
Children will have to be quiet as they sneak past sleeping sharks and master seahorse riding during their travels. Once it’s been found Finley Flipper will be able to share her favourite tale with all of the children that helped her find it.
Alongside the hunt for the story, there will be plenty of other free games and activities taking place throughout the course of the day, including coral-oke and musical puffa fish. There will also be a special coral crafting area where children will be able to make their own underwater-themed decorations, creatures and creations.
