Essex Boot Camps
Throughout the year, various parks in Chelmsford There are various boot camp sessions taking place on different days and times running continuously throughout the year. These are being held at Beaulieu Park, Bell Meadow, Hylands Park and Admiral's Park. Sessions last one hour and there is always at least one qualified instructor on hand to help out.

Free Comic Book Day - Red Sun Comics & Collectables
5 May, High Chelmer
Come along to Red Sun Comics & Collectables for their Free Comic Book Day. The store will be handing out free comics which range from kiddies comics to standard mainstream comics. Jack Lawrence, the professional artist, will be in-store along with four local amateur artists too who will be doing signings. Sweets & Sarnies (next to the store) will also be commemorating the day by stocking superhero themed cupcakes and sweets! Why not enjoy the fun and come along dressed as your favourite comic book character?!

Jolly Roger Duo World Record Attempt!
13 - 20 May, Former Mustard Restaurant, New London Road
A pair of Chelmsford comedians are attempting a world record and putting on live comedy for a week as part of the Altogether Now Festival. Daz Coles and Michael Remick run the Jolly Roger Comedy Club at the Golden Fleece and have set themselves the challenge of providing seven days of comedy without a break from noon on Sunday 13th May to Saturday 20th May! Come along and support them during their world record attempt!

Tuesday Toddle
15 May, Hylands House - Stables Visitor Centre
Join us on this popular session for accompanied preschool children. Following a gentle stroll around the garden areas we head inside to make something fabulous to take home. Please ask for a welcome pack if this is your first toddle.
