The Essex Schools Showcase for The Arts has been produced since 2012, making 2022’s digital edition the eleventh year. Unfunded and supported entirely by generous support from our sponsors and a great deal of voluntary work by school staff, the Showcase has proved popular with the public, showing very high-quality visual and performing arts from Essex school students.
For the third year, the lingering effects of the Covid 19 Pandemic have hampered our ability to put on a physical Showcase for The Arts in Chelmsford, but despite the difficulties, Essex school students’ creativity has been undiminished, and nine schools have participated in putting together an impressive array of artworks, this year including short film as well as 2D, 3D and installation work.
